World Class Golf in the Philadelphia Area
The golf course at RiverWinds stays true to the heritage of historic courses in Scotland and Ireland. Nestled in the grasslands between scenic Woodbury Creek and the deep-harbor marina on the Delaware River, the 18-hole championship course invokes visions of seaside golf. The water, surrounding wetlands, and a mile-long twisting berm create an intriguing setting. Across the river are breathing views of the Philadelphia skyline.
Unique Championship Course Design
Like a true championship golf course, the challenge of each hole at RiverWinds escalates as players move to the back nine. Holes 14 through 18 all border the bluffs along the river, where the fierce west erly winds can confound the most skilled putters. Created by Shearon Golf Design, the 7100 yard par 72 RiverWinds course was designed by architect Ed Shearon and shaped by expert Pete Fazio, of the renowned golfing family. This original course brings world-class golf to the Philadelphia area.
